Intuition At Hand is offering on-site readings on Saturdays 2-4pm and may have a Reader available on Sundays from 2pm-4pm by appointment -walk-ins may also be available. Please check our Events, Classes Schedule Page for details, as they may change. A typical reading is approximately 30-40 minutes, unless otherwise stated. Walk-ins may be accepted depending on the availability. Cost of a reading varies on the reader. Please check by phone, join the Meetup Group, subscribe to the email list for updates, or stop by.

From a very young age I would look up at the sky and marvel at the creator's beautiful artwork. I saw it in the trees, clouds, stars and the magnificence of the glowing moon. I felt drawn to them and would often give thanks for their existence and beauty. Wild and injured animals always seem to find their way to me, as if knowing I would and could help them, I frequently found myself taking on other people's feelings and emotions .... even sometimes hearing their thoughts.
A few things really threw me in my early 20's as I was seeing things before, they happened and was hearing people who had transitioned and passed on.
It’s been my great joy to help people with closure and free trapped souls to move on with love and peace and into the light. on the other side. My personal experience of having a bout with cancer directed me on the path of helping people advocate for themselves with my mantra being "if it doesn’t feel right, it isn’t!". These were brought to a higher level, when I discovered dowsing in 2004 during a greyhound dog event In Gettysburg. Being a receptive "sitter" for readings
What's a "sitter"?
If you are on the receiving end of a psychic reading, you may be referred to as a "sitter".
Is there a way to prepare or be more receptive for a reading? Here's some suggestions:
Remember that there are different types of professional skilled readers. Some readers are strictly intuitive while another reader may use other or additional tools during the reading such as: tarot, oracle and/or message cards, crystals and natural stones, rune and sigils, dowsing rods or pendulums, a combination of these, etc. Some readers specialize in a specific "type" of energy reading such as: Angel Reading, Tea Leaf Reading, Star Seed Reading, Tarot or Oracle card reading, use automatic writing or drawing, Crystals Reading or "Hand" reading by touch, connecting to the energy of those who have transitioned to spirit. So, you may consider the profile of that reader and the "type" of reading that they provide and what you are looking for.
You should have some clarity of your intentions and expectations. Are you just wanting simple advice on life in general and whatever comes through during the reading? Do you have specific questions in mind regarding something in particular? Are you seeking contact with the energy of someone that has transitioned to spirit? Sincerely state your expectations, being open and honest. Ask the Reader those questions so the Reader can provide you with the best reading possible.
The Reader is opening themself and connecting to a higher energy to channel that communication for your reading so try to keep your responses and replies simple, without going into details, unless prompted.
If you are expecting to receive a message or communicate with a person who has transitioned to spirit, be mindful that your energy must be in sync and aligned with that particular spirit energy to make that connection also. Sometimes we don't receive what we are asking for but what is more relevant for us at that moment. Keeping this in mind, will avoid a feeling of disappointment if the person you are focused on does not come through at that time. It is not a reflection of your Readers ability. It is best to accept any messages received with appreciation and gratitude.
